jeremy: yeah malcolm for 30m was a steal even at like 5m over the average price for him. Its a whole beans payday in dice to make one, and same time true thats the average amt I would be able to sell a 3t red or black egg for.

those special order animals wont show up on w2 if they seem to have gotten too cheap to profit from, will move to rsof traded item posts only, and probably work like the krar jnr hunters who take orders, but then kinda keep you on call for weeks before you can collect.

it'll be super hard to report what thats worth once we're not seeing it traded in fc or on w2., but not entirely impossible starting with ge price for unchecked gloom about 1m now, and then selling as ado for 2m, trading for 850 beans, etc. If you work out average number of dice to land chaotic, or loyal that trait kinda does add $20m value to the animal, and then another $5m for the name.

I do kinda see prices for crystal ado chins, but w2 hawkers dont peddle elder pairs to quick breed one of each as such yet. That might be a forum based special order thing.

Glad to see yak values show up a little. For first week or two of release unchecked spirit yaks went for like 16m, and it made baby spirit yaks easy to sell or trade for about $5m worth. Baby, ado, adult, elder yaks and spirit yaks do seem down to like 1 and 2m now, but... if somebody finished their breed log for yaks, and they were selling 3 slot parents with radiant... man... I am pretty sure their expectation is 30-75m ea for radiant yak parents. Rare enough they could ask for some pretty intense trades of ado dragons worth all the beans they didnt make doin yaks.

I had noticed a funny kinda lurch where dragon eggs would spit out a minute or so after I got there. Feels just like when POP voyages are"soon" for a little more than a minute.

I do notice the high volume trades of w2 for more expensive things down, but I refuse to call that a crash. I think it reflects more special order type trades moving to forum based trades.

Of the max bean tradeable animals it seems w2ppl offer fewer ado drags, fewer ado zygo sold at times too far away from reset, but that ado chins are high demand and supply because people switch their rabbit totems for chins near reset. Thats not saying things cheaper or less common, per se, but that chins seem more often available, and seem to be about 750k ea on average.

Im sorry but I have to conflict this sale. I spend a lot of time in w2 and have never seen a loyal trevor selling for that much. I bought one for 35m by luck, when most people are selling 40-50m, you can get for less if you wait. You stating you sold for 90m is a flat out lie.

I have so many bean-fodder animals that I'm starting to feel like I need an animal appraiser!

Can anyone help with current going rates on these? (all adolescent)

Chickens
Regular sheep VS. Fallfaced/Summerdown
Regular cows VS. Vanilla/Strawberry/Chocolate
Regular zygos VS. Zanarian/Arcspore
Frem yaks vs spirit yaks
Crystal chins vs Unstable crystal chins

Also, shiny animals and anything under 3-trait is definitely bean-fodder now, correct?

Depending on the animal and traits yes. People still dont mind buying 2t aninals with specific traits to help complete logs. If you happen to have 2t or 3t sheep with shiny traits add and pm me :)

yeah I have anger management issues and consider myself high risk for muting which is why I asked someone else to start and moderate the farm thread. the various fc have been very devious in their deceptions allowing player buyers to think shininess chance was better for royals, so subsequent epiphanies that dragons with perfect traits at what is probably a capped shininess chance at 5% just like boss pet threshholds will take about
3 weeks average to breed royals
... its created less buzz in the w2 dragon selling/buying area, and thats fine, because they were always destined for sales based moreso on the forums and as more of a special order. Buying good dragons is a smart investment, though, because its so many beans to roll them past all their dragon specific traits at each slot; however, its an investment entirely unlike day trading without immediately visible gains (ultracompost and effigies for the next many years).

I was also reluctant to derail this thread discussing dragons cause theyre so much more complicated, but also so fascinating, and couldnt help it.

the small and medium pen animals, because they breed faster for people's beans, will most often not get a spot in the breeding pen to age from egg/baby to ado. zygo, chins, etc are already MUCH higher volume buyer and seller.

I see common prices for ado chins at 750k, and I know I hate leaving chins in the small pens, so there should be a pretty steady demand to buy chins that sell for beans.

zygo prices seem down to me. I don't think that will last. It had been true the 10+ days or so they were 2m uncheck and 4m ado; but now theyre 600k unchecked through GE, and 2m ado. I think a large part of that is from oversupply based on camping the arc for frags to start farming, which will be supplemented by return trips to arc for unsliced pickings to make mush with, and of course they remain the highest value in beans from medium pens, but also have to take turns with breeding log complet
