I bought a "perk up!" set on w2 for about 8m, and it took forever, cause not so many people keeping their elders. You have to activate six tier 2 perks at once to get the acheivement.

Im not seeing anyone hawk daemoncaps, but a lot of people already at arcspores and cranking em out for the webbing.

there is an acheivement for giving granny a magical zygote named trevor with loyal to granny, and conversely the acheivement for royal is done at simply breeding a royal. Thats visible in game by checking your acheivements, closing whatever dart is open, then choosing "skills" and "farming" to see all the relevant runescore awarding tasks for po farms.

the stable item governing animal trades seems to be unchecked gloom 2m, and then ado zygo for 4m (closer to reset). thats gonna keep several people afk employed making 24m every 15 hrs if they fill two paddocks and the breeding pen just for ageing purposes. some of the merchants have alt accounts to do that alone.

a day's limit of zygo sales to zoe is eight, which is worth 8400 beans (mf set etc) and you will pretty much spend all of that on rerolls for traits, so having the traits right has a related value, but depends on how right the trait is per slot.

its worth a lot less to have studly in slot 2.

more traits occur at slot 2 and 3, have more competition when rolling, and that means __, ___, radiant is actually worth more than studly, genetic instability, ____. if you're considering it as a rerollable animal and you do have the master farmer set which improves your luck when rerolling.

so IFF you have master farmer set and you buy ado zygo 4m ea, sell to zoe, and use all your beans for rerolling and weigh them so that radiant is worth 50% of whole price, instable is worth 35% of whole price, and studly is worth about 15% of whole price of your reroll dice, then....

radiant is worth about 16m
genetic instability is worth roughly 12m
studly is worth 4m IFF in slot one for 2 and 3 trait animals

jackalope takes a 95% penalty on that because rabbits breed so fast no one needs to reroll them.

yaks are in a weird position where theyre not worth as many beans as zygo, but theyre harder to cough up in the beginning with a 1 in 5000 drop rate while making yak pouches (and charms are untradeable so there is higher supply now, and that supply of unchecked yaks will taper way way off, as availability of undesired baby yaks p2p traded increases).

so yaks have a very dynamic range of sale prices for gp.
I dont dispute the value of any of the trades I have seen from 3 to 20m.
I have been trading my trickle of 2 trait offspring that arent sacred for ado zygo because I bank yaks before reset and never even see prezleek. Its a good trade, and I'm not doing it to mess anyone up, nor can I do it a whole bunch, so don't worry if you're meaning to get more for them. I aint disputin their value in gp.

now for dragons.

#1 there was high availability of black dragons early on because theyre 1 in 200 drop from QBD. Thats what makes the royal breeders focus on 3 trait blacks, because they are more of them already. You can have a 3 trait geen and 2 trait red make you a royal red dragon. Thats how shiny works.

#2 there was uninvolved collector bidding on royal dragons at reddit for "$1b for first royal!" obviously without understanding shinyness or that we would need to breed our own dragons for runescore

so that means the mad hats talk bad to you about green, blue, and red dragons, and they really shouldn't. they're wrong. there is nothin extra special about black dragons, per se.

The above MVT still apply to one of the parents you intend to breed a royal with, or to put to use as a ado for beans assembly line.

Thats the more valuable mate.

One of the royal parents has to have all three breath, and they occur in any slot, so a 3 slot with breath this, or breath that... isn't going to be worth anymore than any other 3 slot dragon of any color in the long run, and they do know it, so dont get bullied or manipulated.

Its very complicated but you dont want to get bullied, at all, by presence of traits sparkling, glistening, virile, 3 breath, good breeding, perfected, etc. Thats all superfluous and negotiable each player to player.

and there is the factor of

in all this. Its 160 hrs, a full week, for elder dragon, and those activate totems to get effigies, so elders really are worth at least as much as ado if not more, and definitely way more if they have 2 and 3 slots for traits.

So the paradigm sales dragon is any color, but MVT, not breath, and ranges, as observed on w2 to go for about $200m which has fallen a long way from that famous bid of $1b for a royal on reddit.

3 slot dragons with breaths, good traits in wrong spot, bad traits all over... theyre ranging from $30m to $100m. Its a lot of individual player negotiation to work that out.

My hopefully obvious interest is getting the runescore. I'm not corrupt and shilling for a merchant clan, and everything I said you can see for yourself on w2.

edit/caveat
: all of the above changes, almost instantly, if each zygo becomes available as unchecked as a drop.

right now in order to breed all zygo you -have- to keep slots open in your pen and paddocks, and thats what drives the emerging job of turning 2m unchecked zygo into 4m ado zygo.

thats what has made this more stable than simply getting the seasonilizer and walking away recomped.

I have no idea what a magical loyal named trevor would be worth, and I havent seen one sold. I have seen malcolms sold, and there is a murmur that female lizard chickens can be rerolled to the name malcolm. I dont have a citation to confirm that.

MVT can occur as a pair.
Male: studly, frost, radiant
Female: poison, genetic instability, shock
all yer traits are there, in slots where they should be, just mixed up, and some will debate that studly is the same as sparkling. maybe. depends on whether you have mf set, rabbit totems, patience, etc.
