Scythe = 100 % no rerelease ?

christmas scythe got 5k releases and holly wreath 1k releases from a christmas event raffle
Black santahat came from a christmas event where you obtained crackers from playing the game and had a chance on getting one.
non of these items wil EVER be re-released. and there are now less then 5k scythes ingame due to bans and people making them dissapear on purpose~
On top of scythe and wreath being LTD * limited edition * releases. not just regular rares.
and christmas tree hat was released with the specific intend to create a new rare as stated by jagex themselfs ^.^ BSH, Holly, scythe is not rares. never have been. only rares that is around is only to this date. per 2005 event items. unless you count odd non ge items like flyers etc. also non of the item were ''limited edition'' again just like rubber turkey which BTW also were relased as ''limited edition'' guess what. rereleased. don't dupe people into thinking its a safe item. it aint. no jagex Employee have ever confirmed its discountiued. no on the other hand. one ''Jmod'' have said ''I can’t promise that we will or won’t bring anything back in the future - I don’t have that much power and I don’t know who will be making those decisions next year.'' again saying yes indeed they are NOT rares.

But why is the price from wreaths and scythes not in balance? Why is the scythe not worth 5 times less then the wreath, concerning the rarity? Doesn't this shows that Jagex is still releasing them in the game?
i don't actually trade. havn't traded since i started in 2001. so can't answer how or why prices go up and honestly can't care less.
all i know is these items are confirmed to never be re-released again. as for the rubber turkey argument you made. those where not limited during the event from scythe/wreaths. wich where the only 2 limited ones.
igues it might be because scythe looks good with the red santa outfit/hat as a combo. and wreath has less uses? rarity wil only go so far.
+ as stated. some people have made some scythes dissapear+bans. so there are less then 5k ingame at this point
rubber turkey WAS LIMITED.
not sure where your getting your info from but turkeys were limited to 12.5k/side before the re-release there was 25k total max. (so 12.5k sets) now theres who knows how many of each but over 12.5k sets for sure lol If you go find the OG news post with table it would show you that everything from that event was limited, just the turkeys were the least limited of all 3 listed. Lost Woods numba 1, (NOT EE, Those scrubs are liars ;p)

So scythe is basically not a good investment long term? Anyone knows if it will return the 4th of january, is that why they do so mysterieus about it?
I'm done merchanting for a while, and distributed all my wealth into discontinued items. Please stop sending me for token sales and let me enjoy the game for a bit
