Given the price, rarity and overall sentiment of what I've seen on the forums I would propose adding the green santa hat to this thread. Red & black are both here and from what I can tell the green santa hat release is similar to that of black.

The last thing I want is this thread to be overrun by "new rares", so if anyone has an argument against I'm happy to hear it. Join "Pis2ols" FC for all discontinued item price checks.

The only problem is that this thread is called Discontinued Item Status instead of rare item status. People may think Green Santa will be discontinued once it's posted here, and be surprised if it get's released again next Christmas. The Jmods made it clear that there's a decent chance this will happen, but not everybody will see their comments.

I don't know what the original reasoning was for adding BSH here in spite of a lack of official discontinued status. But Jagex has left BSH, Holly and Scythe alone for 7-8 years, and haven't explicitly said there's a good chance they'll return. Instead, they're now releasing tweaked versions of the 3, a clear indicator that they've done their best to not release them again. These new versions however, do have a high chance of being released again.

What I propose is to keep all 3 of these new rares off of this thread, and to potentially add them somewhere in the next few years if they stay discontinued. Or to change the name of the thread to compliment the status of these new types of Rares. "rare item status" fits these better.

nib golden phat 390m within past 1hr

watch me get screwed (just what happens to sea king)...I only bought a few when they were 290m yday because I was worried about overpaying ... today, I convinced myself to pay 390m for a dozen

My thinking or hope is that gold phat price reached an inflection point as the rate of supply has dwindled (because most players who play RS would have made their gold phats by now in Week 3). But who knows? I could be just chum for the merchants. If you are willing to chuck your most precious possessions like phats because someone said words like crashing/dying/quitting and then find yourself unable to rebuy for what you sold for, then you don't deserve to own a phat.

Your own thread name is argument against it. Put your wishes on side now.
Doesn't matter if the release is similar, BSH is discontinued and this one isn't, for now atleast because they are also unsure with their statements.
