No, its been said in the past that the Christmas scythe and wreath were limited items and there is nice round number of them (5000? for scythe or i may be wrong). The mod is saying that the new holiday items like gsh and gift wrap scythe are not d/c so they should not be on here. But, since other past holiday items (bsh, wreath, scythe) have been adopted into this thread, the new items can be as well.

Oh please, they never said in an official post that the BSH, Scythe or Wreath would be discontinued. The only official Discontinued items are the OG items and appears that this Golden Phats are based on wording used in Green Santa Hats.

edit: to be clear, I'm not suggesting they're going to re-release BSH, Scythe or Wreath. But no one saw them re-releasing the Zombie Walk. I don't see why GSH shouldn't be included.

Green santa hat really fits into this thread.

What about the Frosted wreath & new Scythe on Christmas day?

Nope old been around years.

You can't say 1 FC is better than others or vice versa. It causes fights. So thats why posts just to advertise Fc's are removed. No 1 wants more fights after all. ;)

As it stands today, I agree, as supported by Mod Hooli's recent post on Reddit:
"In terms of the other two Santas, we've only got certain 'Green Santa Will Return' news to confirm as it stands today."

However, I was also quite confused when turkeys returned despite being originally limited just like black santa and xmas scythe (12,500 of each turkey were originally handed out).

It would be nice if Jagex ever gave us a list of items they promise to never re-release, but doubt it'll happen. Generally speaking, making promises on things years into the future isn't an easy thing to do.

Yeah Wizards of the Coast made that mistake with the reserved list in M:tG and it has been biting them and causing headaches for 25+ years.
