It sounds like it could or could not come back to me. If it is discontinued for the next year or two but comes back in 3 will it be posted here during those first two years? Do we post it in sof/th then?

Tree hats were released once. Whole nine years ago. Despite that it's been degraded to SoF/TH thread by the community. Maybe it's about time to revise some historical decisions?

Any TH-related promotions are not posted here, because Jagex has stated it is probably not discontinued it should not be included here. Golden Partyhats have been explicitly announced as discontinued on day 1, the messaging is clear.

Christmas Tree Hat and Fish Mask are both technically discontinued, but their item prices are so insignificant they aren't tracked here... If Golden Partyhat sustains prices under 200m, I'd probably remove it from my weekly price checks. Celebrating 4 Million+ Monthly Users, join

Friendly reminder to check out this thread to avoid falling victim to manipulation:


[Beware] Price Manipulation

- Investigate accounts which people claim to trade with, be cautious if the account seems to be inactive for the last few months or appears to be an alt.

- Check a persons post history to see if they only list their sales and not buys or vice versa, this will show their intentions very clearly. (if they only list sales, they are trying to inflate, if they only list buys, they are trying to get the prices to go down.

- Sometimes people inflate their sales by overpricing an item involved in the trade.


- Sometimes people post ranges for their own benefit and don't reflect the recent trades.

- Some users will change their examine to claim they are accurate PC'ers, because this falls in a grey area and Fmods are unable to take action, be aware that some of these are false, they may even mention this in their post to try and deceive people.

- If a post looks suspicious, for example failing to mention second parties, screenshots, prices that seem very inaccurate compared to recent trades within the thread, then be very cautious.


- People that manipulate and use false ranges usually appear off in game and are never online to answer any queries about their ranges.

- Research the ranges advertised, to see if they include actual recent trades within the thread.

- Look for
reports verified by both parties involved with the transactions

It's a team effort to keep the community safe, since the Fmods/Jmods can't to do anything about it
