Calling out BS does not make this thread toxic. What makes it toxic, and is currently making it toxic, is that manipulation and foul play is running rampant and the only people silenced are those that call it out, yet you're calling for the mods, the people that are enabling the toxicity and the manipulators. People aren't jumping ship for Discord and PCT because of people like Tranq, but rather because of the exact things that Tranq is calling out. The forums are failing because the moderation of manipulators and bad actors is inadequate.

If you want people to do their own research then let someone like Tranq present information for people to be better informed. There's no "research" if we keep hiding all the evidence. "Do your own research" is just a meme at this point, it means nothing. At this point it's just Tuffty's catch phrase.

I've already submitted a lengthy, detailed forum mod review. Hopefully Jagex will be willing to change things on the forums. If not ill just do my own "research" elsewhere.

If anyone is unaware of PCT ( Price Check & Trade) on Discord, I highly recommend checking it out as a strong replacement for forum thread.

I think it is interesting Tranquility brings up the integrity of someone's post on this forum while simultaneously posting price ranges on rares, saying things like Yellow is in the low 30s, right underneath a post of someone with photo evidence of 28.5 sale on yellow. Party hats are going south as stated, but some people doing what they can to keep the inflation alive and well. Isn't Tranquility also the one saying "I strongly suggest do your own homework and go through various threads and do not go off of just the last trade you see." well, hmm. Since this person got an item but it doesn't fit Tranquility's price bands, its a lure, and a fake trade. Well, allow the users to do their own research and determine a range for themselves and what they are willing to pay. You can't have it both ways, by telling people to do their own research, but calling out others when the prices aren't what you want to see. To be clear, that kid could be a lurer, but that has nothing to do with this forum, or their recorded sale. Stay on topic.

No matter how much 'evidence' you think you have, the Forums may not be used to make accusations about other players.

Rule breaking should be reported in-game at the time of the incident. If you have evidence and information that you are unable to report in-game, then you may send that to Jagex using the
