It doesn't, is the short answer. If someone intends to manip, they will trade an alt, a friend, make name changes etc.

Perhaps if theyre just here to troll, then they might not put in the effort to do a screenshot, and in that case it helps.

But anyone intent on manipulating will make or fake a screenshot

And as a side note, bear in mind anyone posting anything on these threads (including myself) is most likely doing it because they have an agenda. They do it to inform the community that such an item sold at such a price, because it strengthens or weakens the value of the item.

People will also cherry pick their trades, and only post ones that fit their agenda. So take all posts and price lists with a grain of salt.

Sometimes people just post here to help out the community, but most posts are made my merchers, and merchers are here to make money.
