The odds of receiving each color on release are on the table below.
As we all know... When Phats got duped in 2003 the rarest/most expensive ones were duped, especially purple as it was the rarest & most expensive, and Blue being second rarest you would assume a fair few got duped also, but not as many as purple. What Le Me means as to why Green could get shifted around in expense order is because it was the 3rd rarest, and out of the other rare colors may have been the least duped, meaning Green as well as Blue are possibly the 2 rarest Phats in the game. I spoke to Weakpig recently and he said Green is traded quite a bit because no one wants it, so players keep offloading them causing them to seem less rare, when in fact they are one of the rarer colors in game.
As you can see Red were the most common, more than twice as common as Blues.
Now will the abundance of some of these more expensive hats such as red cause them to slip down below the much rarer Green Patyhat when the new GE update releases? Will the abundance of Purples due to the dupe cause them to slip back down below Green and Yellow?
If a more common color Phat is traded through the GE more will this decrease its value over the rarer colors which are traded less on the GE? I guess that's what I'm curious to know the answer of here.
