Timbo via Reddit: "I can't speak for legacy items like half wines because that was, now, a very long time ago. However, our policy over the last 5-6 years has been extremely clear - any tradeable rares that have been made as an accidental byproduct of an update will be fixed. This has been the case for a long time now and similar instances in the past 5 years have been fixed like this."
EDIT: given this, I'm unsure of how long ago "rare" rune gauntlets/lobsters were created, or whether or not they would fall under the "legacy items" Timbo mentioned (they very well might), but its something worth noting that there is a degree of risk with regard to potential future corrections.
