Honestly it seems very rare and hard to obtain - opposite of the spectrum to gold phat.

I think they don't necessarily need to make it discontinued to keep the GSH value up.

Sure it won't be as much as BSH, but look at hero item prices like OSH. OSH keeps going up cause there's not enough supply.

But again it's Day 1. Jagex has mechanisms to improve supply by adding mitigation

Someone was streaming their openings today on twitch, they used 1600 keys worth of paper and got no green santa, they also had 0 golden presents in those attempts. Given Yo Blue's post above as well, it is probably close to 1/500 from the presents. Where do you take a sick horse?

It's not a perfect comparison; I'm simply hypothesizing the direction Jagex is going by making Green Santa Hat NOT discontinued.

And frankly, Bis hero items rarely actually deliver a positive ROI. People still buy it for the prestige and the allure of owning something Bis

Let me know what your theory is
