Melvor is part of Jagex now and we have all 120's on there. Summoning is not classed as a combat skill on there. Skill and total xp is almost unlimited as they were never capped by 32-bit java. Combat level is 153. RS3 would add summoning to that.
Melvor Idle and RS3 are too different games. Since you realize Summoning is a skill in Melvor Idle, why don't you say they should add Summoning, instead of Sailing to OSRS too??????

Because he was talking about max combat level if everything was 120, I answered the question. Melvor uses the same level formula apart from summoning. I do not play OSRS but did not think they had all 120's yet, maybe they do IDK. Even Necro will keep your combat level to 138 till after you hit over 99.

They won't, because skillers can still max without any combat. Actually skillers will be jumping for joy as they are getting on equal footing with combat players in RS3.
Same happened with prayer few years ago, skiller pures could train prayer without effecting the combat level, but it got reverted and they were all offered a rollback. I cannot see level 3's being happy with this update. They cannot even make money from gathering as most of the needed items are things like bones which involve combat. M+S rework or Archaeology they could make money by selling to higher levels.

So what doesn't OSRS follow what Melvor Idle but RS3 have to? You don't play OSRS, but I like to hear from those who play both RS3 and OSRS.

You do know since they went to EOC the other combat skills got totally messed up. So many skills are so not ready to get any levels added to them. Probably Summoning is the only combat skill that could go to 120. I predict it is next on the list because of Necromancy. Prayer probably could too.

I actually think they don't care much about levels. They only care about adding enjoyable content. Mod Jack actually told us they don't consider maxing an endgame content, so levels really don't matter much in their design process.
