It is about your own choice. I clearly pointed out skill pures don't want to train combat skills just because of their own choice. Necromancy is another combat skill. If they don't want to gain combat levels, then just treat it like magic, ranged, melee, summoing etc and don't train it.
Hence, like myself, will not be jumping for joy
You already leveled your combat skills to over level 80. So why is a problem with leveling Necromancy, another combat skill? Shrug! Your choice, anyway regardless why you treat Necromancy differently in term of combat level, comparing to combat skills you are already over levels 80s.

I am level 111 combat. I have been this level for over 15 years. I do not remember the last time I levelled a combat skill - aside from a glitch where a prismatic star gave direct XP a few weeks ago.
I chose to stay at this level to give myself a bit more of a challenge. Nothing more, nothing less.
Yes, it's my choice.
If I miss out on Necromancy, so be it.
I merely came here to point out that you contradicted yourself and proved the point you were trying to argue against
^^
I clearly answered your question, which is absolutely not a question at all. You already determined you want to stay at level 111 for 15 years so you admitted you aren't interested in participating in Necromancy and my thread.

So what? If they don't want to level up their combat, they don't have to train Necromacy just like those "skill pures" don't have train combat skills.

They won't, because skillers can still max without any combat. Actually skillers will be jumping for joy as they are getting on equal footing with combat players in RS3.
You've literally just said the complete opposite things in a row.
*facepalm*
~A~
You are just totally taking my two sentences out of context. You intentionally omitted my second sentence was a reply to your comment, not a continuation from my first comment.
How are they out of context?
They both pertain to how skillers will feel about Necromancy.
One says they'll be happy because they can train it without combat.
The other says that because it contains combat they won't be happy therefore won't train it.
This in itself proves CaptKoloth's point that some people will not be happy.
Is there any reason to raise the max combat? Perhaps reaching level 120 is the reason?
If it's a fourth combat style, then it shouldn't really raise the combat level until you hit post-99.
If it's a supplementary skill like prayer or summoning, then the raised combat level makes sense.
I'm guessing it's more of a hybrid of a new combat style along with some prayer-like supplements that can be used with any other style. This is the only approach that makes sense to raise the combat level so steeply.
Guess we now have an idea for the template when they opt to raise the other combat skills to 120.
IF they raise the others, 150 something becomes to the new max based on str/atk/def/magic/range.
Though prayer, constitution, and summoning ofc will nudge the number up even higher

Melvor is part of Jagex now and we have all 120's on there. Summoning is not classed as a combat skill on there. Skill and total xp is almost unlimited as they were never capped by 32-bit java. Combat level is 153. RS3 would add summoning to that.

Melvor Idle and RS3 are too different games. Since you realize Summoning is a skill in Melvor Idle, why don't you say they should add Summoning, instead of Sailing to OSRS too??????
