I'd be very surprised if we never got any more skilling bosses, especially considering OSRS has had quite a few of them and AFAIK they're quite popular over there.
But I have to agree with Robby; I feel like a boss that's
both
a skilling and combat boss would probably be the most interesting way for these bosses to go. Imagine an encounter where fighters would have to draw attention away from the skillers while the skillers build defenses, expose weak points for the fighters to strike, shut down the boss's most powerful charged attacks, etc.
"croesus fc" always has teams forming.
I'd like more skilling bosses. Croesus requires 4 same lvld players in their skill of choice, all of them required to be high leveled. It would be nice to have a combination skill-combat boss. something to cover the lower lvls of skills and/or combat, maybe with a hardmode option once players get more used to it, and get better loot, for well oiled teams.
As a suggestion: suppose at some point the area is filled with certain skill spots (covering a minion monster that fill up the bosses bar), requiring you to deplete the node after which u need to kill the minion. Several similar waves can be required, similar to some of the promotional events of a while back, where you had to fill your activity bar in 1 of 2 skills each day of a week, to open a reward chest at the end.
When all the skills spots/minions are eliminated/subdued the main boss would appear with their stats defined by your previous activities. And maybe a bit like Solak's legs, you'd have to would cut the bosses legs before you could damage them with combat. And similar phases to complete it. An activity counter to keep track of your final loot potential, similar to croe.
Pure skillers could disengage or avoid the incoming attacks when actual combat is done, without guaranteed death.

Great idea… and why not start with a Grotesque boss? After purifying the Nexus, jump down that gaping hole in Lumby swamp and keep fighting it.. mix herblore, prayer, and maybe construction or firemaking skilling with combat. Half of the mechanics and assets are already there, and it would revive some dead content.
I don't support this, but I would say try and make current minigames more relevant with better skilling methods implemented. For example castle wars, incorporating some sort of skilling update inside castle wars, I think would be a phenomenal step to reviving a good piece of content.
DO NOT make the PVP side of things irrelevant like you may be doing with the wilderness, it's called complimenting the PVP side with other endeavors, not demolishing it with PVM or skilling.
Be nice and help people
