I am a grandfathered member with my 20 year Anniversary Cape, but I still had to get Premier Club membership to access the Permier Track of all Yak Tracks since they were released in 2019. There is no difference with Hero Pass.

There were no money rewards from Yak Tracks anyway. There may be some tradeable Shoulder Capes that may worth a little, but in general absolutely worth the time to get them specifically. Actually, we may get even more monetary values from Shoulder Capes and such now when Hero Cape comes. It will be really nice to us.

Jmods already told us the "slow" skill Missions take like just 20 minutes to complete. Most of the Yak Track tasks take far longer than that.

On the one hand, I appreciate them removing the daily tasks which make the game feel like homework and give you a slight feeling like you're missing out if you don't login daily. Good job there, Jagex.

On the other, and more importantly, it's very annoying that you're being pushed to getting premier membership. Plus, I get the feeling they'll remove the 3 extra Treasure Hunter keys we're getting daily which sucks even more and feels like an attempt to induce you to buy keys.

Keep it up with updates like this and my thoughts on premier will go from "not likely" to "cancel membership".

No, you don't need premier membership to participate

And no, you never needed to buy keys to play Yak Track so it is nothing changed with Hero Pass. We used to be able to buy skips with bonds but it is impossible with Hero Pass. Hero Pass actually is an attempt to induce us not to buy more bonds for pay to win.

Ive pmayed for 17 years now and have not once ever complained over an update but i am not happy with the battle pass in the slightest. Supposedly it was removed for being to rewarding but it's nothing to lamp your way to 99. My buddy quit runescape today because that was the one little bit of help he had as an ironman, jagex made a mistake and it needs to be fixed. This is a terrible update
