If you think RS4 is like OSRS, then the RS3 team has already firmly said no such thing.

What Mod Keeper said of "something sort of almost RS4" is actually RS3 with a lot of upgrades, especially in the technical areas like game engine, infrastructure, platforms, visual/audio improvements like VFX etc. Mod MIC later also said they don't plan to even change the name of it. So "sort of almost RS4" will remain officially called Runescape (or RS3 for those who really care about the difference) for at least the next 2 years.

no i'm not i'm giving an example of what rs4 stands for i'm not saying it will be exactly the same as osrs at all and i havn't read that statement.

As long as you think "RS4" is a separate game from Runescape (or RS3) then it is not happening whatsoever.

no your mistaken AGAIN when rs3 came out everything from your account that was on osrs or what was just known as rs back then was transfered to rs3 i'm saying its like that when i thought rs4 was coming out which isn't at the moment because nothing been said and its usually something they would keep secret like they did with this update before they stated about fresh start worlds

Absolutely wrong. When RS3 came there was no OSRS.

When RS3 came we far more things than even OSRS in 2022 now have. Please tell us where are our War Tortoise and Pack Yak, Chaotic Weapons etc on OSRS? Never. OSRS is far closer to RSC.

Not true at all. Oh where oh where have my Summoning and Divination levels gone?

It won't matter at all going forward with RS3 because there won't be RS4. We will only get more and more impactful updates to RS3 and it will remain one game which we have known for 21+ years - Runescape.

You have a choice on if you want to do this.

If you do then you can get rewarded for it.

If you dont, then you dont lose out on anything but cosmetics.

There was no "transferring" when rs3 came out like what happened with rs2 as it was just a game update.

They used the existing client and existing game thus no need for any "transfers".
