I got back into Gielinor because of GIM in OSRS. I have been an ironman on rs for the longest time now. I personally would come back to rs3 just for GIM in RS3.

Some might ask why just not main on rs3 and play with friends - simple. The "spins", dxp events, and grand exchange in my opinion ruin the feeling of any achievent in this game. Ironman mode has them removed together with the ability to actually enjoy group content.

In OS, the GIM have seperate highscores from ironmen, so I dont see the issue for the ironman players as well.

Even if it was only keeping old players on other characters, it would be fresh and it would be fun for a good amount of players. I dont see why it shouldn't be implemented.

Very simple why we don't need GIM in RS3. Just look at the concurrent player count of OSRS and we should easily see GIM has brought in nothing to OSRS. OSRS's population is back to the same level just before GIM now.

What does OSRS and Jagex as a whole gained from GIM? Worse than nothing! Not only didn't they gain any player, they got all the non-GIM content announced for the 2nd half of 2021 all delayed to 2022. I don't think anybody want to see the same nonsense in RS3.
