Hi everyone,

Like a lot of players nowadays I've maxed and am thinking about progressing an ironman but with the announcement of OSRS group ironman system, I think the group ironman mode will soon come to rs3. I can't find any recent posts on the matter so my question is: is there any news on it? Should I progress an ironman cause its years away?

If there's any information on it feel free to comment or send me a message in game. If there's a dev reading this please put my mind at ease.

No. We already have the part of GIM in RS3 for a long time. RS3 IM can group in lootshare worlds long ago, and just a couple of days ago they can even group with anybody in Croesus.

We don't need the IM to trade with anybody. It will definitely kill the economy as well as devalue the IM who rose to their current status through hard challenges and not like HCIM getting 5 lives.

So no, RS3 Jmods already said no to the OSRS kind of GIM that actually will severely damage the integrity of true IMs.

Even in OSRS i disagree with this as IM shouldnt be allowed to trade with anyone.

I mean why make an acc that you know cant trade yet complain about about not being able to trade? :@

This is exactly why i dont partake in IM as i like trading.

Group ironman mode to me is just replay the game again even though you just did with ironman mode. Idk how people have time for it.

The irony is they don't have time at all. The new OSRS Executive Producer revealed there is a huge overlap between GIM players and Leagues 3. These are not new players for different kinds of content but just same players taken away from existing content and events.

GIM actually doesn't bring in new players but only have existing ironmen making alts and trying to steal players from other content. It is bad to the bone.
