This has been Jagex ever since EOC started, it's a pay to win game and they will never change until they get bought out from another company.

There's a reason why they continuously just release PVM content and never care about any other important parts of their game, it's a rinse and repeat system, easy to monitor and care for, they're literally just bleeding us of our money.

You do know this is literally what osrs is all about right?

Here is how I see this FSW server thing. You have two choices Join it and pay the extra membership or don't join it and save the membership fee.

Now for the pain part of it.

1. You are looking at 16 weeks (4 months) of membership fees.

2. You opt out of the FSW and in 4 months you are looking at a flood of new Characters entering the game with GP and items. These are items/GP that didn't come from current RS3 flooding onto the economy. These players will have item drops from enhanced luck modifiers.

3. Tresure Hunter in FSW, just consider the Protean/Stars/Lamps/Dummies for a minute. Enhanced EXP with the boosts from TH pushing skill levels at insane speeds. Are we looking at the new Proteans being available from the packs and convertible? If So 99 or even 120 Herb for these new accounts will be child's play.

4. Pet drops from the FSW that will drop easy and make all the time current players have invested trying to get them seem wasted?

5. This one I have no idea if it's possible or not to 99 all skills in 4 months with the boosted EXP? If So wow makes my time in RS3 seem wasted and I came back at Mobile Launch. I feel I've progressed rather well in that Time with a full-time job even through the pandemic (No remote work).

I'm really thinking it might be worth the Money to go for it in FSW and at least have some of the benefits. I mean I see an economic disaster hitting RS3 after the transfer. I'm not sure I want to be on the losing side of it.

Perhaps you don't realize FSW are part of RS3 just like PVP Worlds are part of OSRS. When their time are due, players move back to the core game. So 4 months later, we will just be moving from RS3 to RS3.

TH, Protean/Stars/Lamps/Dummies etc exist in the core RS3 game too. For players who are willing to pay real money for them they can always do it in RS3 even without FSW.

Many pet drop rates should actually be LOWER with lower levels in FSW.

Players are known to buy 99 skills easily because of Bond MTX since "An Important Message from Mod MMG" to RS3 and OSRS for almost a decade. It is not even news in 2022 with FSW,

I'm aware the FSW is a clone of RS3 and players have to return to the Current game in 4 Months. I said in my post in FOUR MONTHS there will be a flood of GP and items into the current game from the FSW.

Again, I'm aware TH items are in the current game. But you seem to miss the point of those items STACKING on top of the EXP multipliers in FSW.

Yet again, my point wasn't if they could buy 99s. It was could they pull off 99ing every skill in Four Months in the FSW? We are talking about TH plus 4 months of Boosted EXP.

Now the comment about the pets. Where do you glean the information that it will be more difficult? From the post on the home page.

Boon of the Skill Pets!
+100% chance to get a skilling pet.
Stacks with the timeline boost of the same effect.
+100% chance to receive a skilling pet during skilling.
Stacks with the identical boost that is activated on week eight of the season for a max of
triple chance
.

This is turned off when you enter the main game. Unlocked at Progress Point milestones.

That to me sounds like Enhanced Chances to get a pet. Yes, I understand the boost will not carry over to Current RS3 after transfer. The thing is you get to keep any and all pets acquired in the FSW and transfer them to current RS3.

RS3 has very few gp sources, especially at low level. I can hardly see anybody can gain a lot of gp from scratch in 4 months. Even if they don't spend any gp, they will be low levels after 4 months anyway.

Flooding of items? Who care when they are T60 or T70 crap? And for higher tier items, we need skills (physical and mental skills, not skills gained by xp) and knowledge to get them. Not many of new players will get the valuable ones even if they gain get all 99 skills.

So what if they get 99 skills in these 4 weeks? Hardly anybody care about 99 skills and Hiscores in the main game anyway.

Yes, maybe there is a net enhanced chance to get a pet, late in the 4 weeks, but most players will still not get a pet drop as I played for 21+ years and am still misisng 2 skilling pets.

So, you are telling me that with all your 21 years of RS knowledge YOU can't gather a good some of GP with enhanced Drop Chances in 4 months with a new character from scratch?

You really think it's just going to be new players in this FSW? People that have not played RS at some point and have no idea what to do? I think you underestimate what current players will do.

I am talking from the perspective of a new player starting out from scratch in a fresh start world. I knew in 2001 hardly anybody sold anything and just hoard gp without leveling and back than there were a lot of alchable and no stone spirit.

Talking from the perspective of somebody with 21 years of RS knowledge and average over 10 mil gp/hr in the main game, even 100 mil gp net profits from FSW is hardly head turning.
