will we be needing 10 (or more dunno how many different trees there are) bankspaces to hold all of those wood spirits? Or can we add them to the wood box?
if the latter is true why not give the same treatment for ore box while you're at it to save up some more bank spaces.
I am not sure if we can store wood spirits on wood boxes but we are getting 50 more free bankslots with the release of Necromancy. We don't have 50 stone spirits.
Why do we want to keep all the wood spirits? Hardly anyody keep all the stone spirits. Most just keep the one or two around their mining levels.
From the
news post:
"Building
Woodcutter's Grove
Tier 1 rewards: Access to normal trees and oak trees in the Woodcutters' Grove.
Ability to store
log
wood spirits in the Wood box.
Log piles in the Woodcutters' grove can be used to deposit logs directly to the bank.
Bird's nests found whilst woodcutting are automatically placed into the backpack."
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
Since it's not a feature of the log box by default you can expect the ore box to receive some similar treatment eventually. The grove features a cave, which potentially could be part of some mining expansion with a related building...

more spirits yay!, Always looking to buy cheap logs for my yak tracks. Knowing jagex the surplus is overlooked. Oh they're already cheap, minus elders.

Glad WC isn't my money method.
Do you know Elders aren't cheap? They are actually getting even more expensive with the upcoming update in their use in RS3 construction.
WC used to be a low gp/hr money making method, now it is going to be viable again for more causal players.

I keep all ores and all stone spirits in my bank. I only move to metal bank when actually working them. I like keeping all of my resources in my bank under a resources tab so I can see what all I have. I don't like having to go to all these different places to see what resources I have available.
As far as keeping all the stone spirits, I'm 99 mining / 99 smithing. Collecting all the ores/bars and smithing masterwork armour from scratch is quite enjoyable to me.

"minus elders" i had in post is 100% a new log i created by adding minus symbols to, had no idea elders were 12k each holy.

Also the lvl scaling is a failure by jagex since they are trying to increase skills to 120 lol. Jagex's logic has its own levels
Jagex never calculates supply and demand properly, we will see how the supply goes.
Also RS3 construction is dead content these days lol. just a 120 cape keeping it alive. "But they added Fort" yes 5hours or so of work and done, until next expansion....
To increase logs per hour, plus increase usage, overtime it will bottleneck and all logs crash.
---
Also log values atm WC is making a lot more than years ago, I always questioned why people WCed yews/magics for money. So much better methods for GP.
To be honest - with logs being used
en masse
in construction from monday onwards, I'll highly expect other logs going up in value as well - at least higher levelled variants - so yew and magic (mahogany will likely drop, since it's no longer used for literally everything from one point onwards) - which on top suddenly are reasonable to cut (since yeah - they never were).
And since they're - for now - not replacing any existing log dropper with spirits, those won't be that worthless as well. Dunno how we'll get them though...
