Who needs Open Altar the old school style when we have the modern Communal 24/7 always-on Communal Open Altar with far better benefits including chance to save what we offer? And we don't have to pay our obnoxious and greedy POH servants.
You still pay people to keep your POH altar lit? Its completely free while wearing the Prayer cape
Do you know if the benefits work if someone has not started the fort content already? In other words can I just go to your world and pray at your altar w/o needing to have to complete it myself.
I don't see the new OPEN communal altar is any different. We share the altar, but we still burn our bones/ashes for rewards based on our own individual progression.
I would love to know how this would work on ironman since you cant share poh herb burners

If this is not going to make construction a 120 skill, it’s going to be dead content for me for a long time.
If totally miss the point, construction is just a small part of this new update, the key points are all the new skilling activities we have associated with the new Fort. The name of the first chapter of this 2 year long living content tells the story already. Fort Forinthry: New Foundations.
What we will be seeing next Tuesday is just a tip of the iceberg. They are just foundation of waves and waves of new content. Fort Fortinthry is more like Priffdinas, a new map with heaps and heaps and heaps of new, bigger and better content than the boring and unpopular old school one. Nothing in Priffdinas went to 120 when it open but it has been a big skilling hub for us over the last decade. Similar concept with Fort Forinthry, and RS3 is making it even better by releasing even more and better content as living game content over the next 2 years instead of an one-off expansion like Priffdinas.
