I'd love for a return to the desert to finish up the loose threads left there. Plenty of questions and lore need to be addressed. I want to restore Tumeken from his current state as the gem, and bring forth the return of scabaras. We need to know what elidinis was doing after the edicts were reestablished. Plenty of more things to learn about the desert area. How hasn't simon templeton been caught yet? He's been standing in the same spot for years. Will it be revealed that he's actually related to derygull? Will osman get a new outfit in a future update? How does shantay still make profit now that people don't need water or passes from him?

I am pretty sure Elidinis is long dead. We can bring Tumeken back though but he is not just the gem. He has split into different entities:

"But there's more. I have felt it. There resides here a soul of tremendous power, a soul clearly divine in nature, yet it is not whole. It is split across several pieces, many of which have changed to become, of themselves, singular entities.

One soul that has become many."
- The Magister's Journal #4

Want to know more about the desert? Perhaps we need to dig up some ancient dirt from Anachronia where the first pyramid was built in the First Age first. Young Kerapac left his village to look for supreme beings who could merit Elder Gods in powers in the First Age. Those people were symbolized by "a circle flanked by two triangles".

Isn't the Desert Sun rising above two pyramids "a circle flanked by two triangles"?

Herby Werby told us them ancient mushroom people worshipped the Ball of Light? Isn't the Ball of Light also the Desert Sun?

Interesting, right? :)
