Well I will look at trying to get stuff, but the rng gods tend to hate me; therefore, I am not likely to get any good stuff this year as usual. I tend to get useless holiday food, etc. Thank you for the start date though since the announcement has no date info.

Could we possibly make this RNG style rare drop a little more fair so that players can only get 1 green santa per account unlike the black santa drop event where some players got 3 hats while most players got a big bag of nothing.

OOooo...so excited! I am grateful that Jagex is releasing another color of hat for all those new players that were not there yeeeeaaars ago or maybe would rather play the game than merch for many Christmas moons to buy a rare. I tingle with Christmas joy over this. ^_^


I certainly hope that my RNG holds out for this. ;) So, yes, let's hope that Jagex makes it fair enough.

Forgot to ask...will the old postage stamps in our currency pouch be useful for this event?

Yes you probably cant imagine that with 3m total xp since thats like 1 week from new account. We the real runescape veterans have payed for membership for the past 20 years. We are the reason this game is still alive after all this time.

Too bad then baby, my party hat also shines brighter than yours, its a good thing they added such nice new color. Cant wait to get my hands on the new Green Santa hat too....like in the good old days. I cant see anything more in the xmas spirit than being able to enjoy such exclusive items even at 3m total exp.

Good point. We all started our 'journey' on Runescape at different times... and not all can afford inflated rares. The super rich can whine all they want, this really shouldn't affect them. Bob says:
