Beach might be fun but whats the point of buying tokens with oddments when i can just buy in ge?
The same point as buying minigame shop rewards like raw lobsters and bowstrings with Temple Trekking tokens and Infinity Robes with Mage Training Arena points instead of buying them from GE.
I don't even think you can buy or sell in the GE anymore, you can with player to player trade. + Loads of people like me might have spare oddments with nothing else to spend on.

I am pretty sure many of the Beach Party reward tokens can be bought and sold in the GE, e.g. the Clawdia "rare" rewards.

Lots of the tokens can be gotten via doing the beach activities.
So no point spending GP or $$$ to buy them when you can get them via RNG.
Also don't rush to get them since a lot will crash pretty quickly.
The beach also lasts a month so good chance you can still get a 'rare' one.
There are always some people who prefer their daily routines to live events. The good thing is they can still buy them either with real money or gp while doing something they enjoy more like killing Telos or Ambassador. Don't forget GWD3 is opening in days so expect more beach goers will be doing the new content this year so less supply and only more demand of tokens.
I just want to point out that the happy hour bonus at 01:00, 09:00 and 14:00 Game Time is completely useless for anyone in Europe who has to attend school or has a job. Really disappointing.
I hope they can still make changes to the schedule, but I deem it unlikely since it's already been announced and Jagex never responds that quickly to even the most common sense changes.
