1. Revolution should be possible for all bosses. Manual can be better I'm sure, but you shouldn't need exact frame perfect timing to boss.
2. Every style should have non locked sustainability. Necromancy does, Magic needs a decently hard quest if you aren't prepared, Melee requires months in ports, and Range needs 92 prayer and some quests or 5000 points of boss kills.
3. Make invention train faster through weapons leveling faster. Getting 3-6 xp a hit is not fun when you don't have the luxury of dismantling your precious weapon.
4. Make Summoning more active like the conjures, the current system is so clunky I never use it.

We are getting new conjure abilities out of Necromancy soon. Skill trees with conjuring/commanding abilities will be expanded too. It will be a much better solution than balancing Summoning.

Revolution mode should always be the preferred and default combat mode to new player. No balance is needed there. It is fine as it.

Well I got my summoning from slayer and people seem to train it just fine on double xp to 200m so quite useful in legacy frankly for carrying items and healing. Not to mention we use runes for magic.
It's all just so beautifully interwoven and triangular.

Might become a professional rs3 legacy livestreamer.
Yes think so.

We are going to summon a skeleton,, a ghost and a zombie all with one ability.

"We'll also be introducing a new ability: 'Conjure Undead Army'.

This ability requires 99 Necromancy and is available at tier 7 of the Well of Souls talent tree.

This ability allows a player to conjure multiple spirits at once.

Ectoplasm costs will be equal to double each conjure ability included, and the ability can be right-clicked and customized to select/remove conjure abilities."

Yes, the first update of Combat Rebalance is coming next Monday.

More changes following, and before that we are going to preview them in the Combat Beta starting Oct 30.

I don't think we ever had a Combat Beta in RS3. This should be really great for everybody to try and voice in our opinions.

This is handily timed as I plan to get 120 Necromancy over the weekend, so I have something else to look forward to.

We have, but not too recently.

The last beta that concerned combat in general was back in 2019, for the (cancelled) weapon diversity system. And EOC was beta-tested back in 2012, with a further beta in 2014 to test new mechanics.

There was also the recent FSOA/Animate Dead beta, but that focused on a couple of specific things so I'm not really counting it.

I remember the FSOA "beta" but this is not really anything on the macroscopic view. EOC was definitely the kind of Combat Beta I referred to, and so was Weapon Diversity which I forgot since the project was called off. Too bad, Weapon Diversity would be a great update to Combat as a whole.
