Wilderness opt in PVP?

I'm very much against opt-in PvP/wild.

The simple fact is that 95% of the game is not PvP. Making the wild opt-in PvP is basically the same as giving every kid a trophy just for being there.

Those that don't like PvP have a very simple options - stay the **** out of the wild.

But I guess that's not enough for those that got their trophies just for showing up. They somehow think they have the right to take away others enjoyment just so they don't have to learn how to play (PvP or at least to escape).

Well, Jagex killed the wild once, I guess they're skilled enough to do it again.

What you don't seem to get is that the majority of players are sick to death of being bait for losers in Wildy who have to camp to find their victims.

The opt-in does nothing to take anything away from players who still want to PK. All it does is take away the unwilling victims. Your only enjoyment comes not from actively fighting other players to see who's best but rather to see how many players you can kill who have no interest in providing you with entertainment.

This will do nothing to remove your fun except perhaps redefine what the hell that should be.
