Personally I see a kind of Power Rangers vibe here

In the lore, Rita Repulsa is made human by Zordon's death blast, she is stripped of her evil. However, a few seasons later she regains her powers and becomes a force of good, The Mystic Mother in Mystic Force. So there is ways Runescape lore could re-establish the powers that the player has

As far as Runescape lore goes. Jas enslaved the dragonkin with protecting the stone of Jas. It makes absolutely no sense to me that the dragonkin would leave the stone in the middle of nowhere on Gielinor's mainland. We know it was on Lunar Isle, we know it was at the bottom of the Daemoneheim castle.. But before all this.. Where could it have been, when the kin were first enslaved?? My thoughts Anachronia!

Kerapac used the needle to bring forth a version of Anachronia which his Anathema device was intact. He used this to get Jas back for enslaving them. So they already had the stone and it makes sense to me that the stone would be with them on this land they resided.. Which means somewhere on this Anachronia lies the untouched, unspoiled and freshly unused Stone of Jas. It would have been brought back with the Island and everything else that came back with it.

Furthermore the world gate is a piece of content I loved, we would need protection from the Gods, especially Zamorak and agents they could send to kill us in order to break down the Edicts once more, they knew killing Guthix would bring down the Edicts, they perhaps feel the same way now about the Player. Whether true or not.

Also Erebus, the Powers protected us there, what happened to Tony, Zaros and Char? Kerapac even and the Staff... Jas herself.. Many unanswered questions

Also the husks of the Elder Gods, the dead planet of Iaia has imo got great 120 divination capability and to hold a whole host of lore. Perhaps other 120s too.. A skilling planet. Again requiring World Guardian prowess to survive

Nope. World Guardian isn't as cool now in 2023 than the past 10 years.

Since the RS 20 Anniversary quest series, we know Time Guardian will be our future.

What's more epic now in 2023 than World Guardian and Time Guardian? Duke of Forinthry, it is cool too but not quite as cool as the UnderWorld Guardian.

Rise, UnderWorld Guardian, in August 7.

Revelation from the Necromancy Artistry Insights video (1:40):

"Arm guards are more like a conduit for necrotic energy, It is an energy coming directly from Erebus. Arm guards are more like a safeguard for the player to harness the energy in the best way possible, to protect them from anything too dangerous"

So essentially with the arm guards, we have the means to protect ourselves from Erebus and shadow anima. We should be able to go to Erebus with the arm guards, without being the World Guardian again. So the World Guardian won't return, but the Underworld Guardian will move forward.

BTW, even the Guthixian World Guardian won't return, the World Guardian has never left as it is a responsibility, perhaps our destined responsibility, according to Rasial in Rune Mythos. So, we are going to continue our untold mission as the Underworld Guardian, or Rasial's World Guardian rather.
