Not a good analogy imo. At those events the crowds around you don't have large animation effects covering up the people on the field/stage.

We absolutely have more animated crowds in concerts and sports events. Don't the organizers of such massive events often tell us to do the WAVE, or give us fluorescent objects we use to cheer the performers?

you are comparing a concert to a MMO on the inter net dont jagex fix things in the game every week or so adding a hide all option would be very simple compared concert promoter fixing a issues at a concert

I've been lucky in recent days and not seen these AOE very often. But once they return it's an instant reminder of how bad and out of place it is. IDK how they ever got in the game, and how the event spawns made it past testing.

Yet ppl have the right to use these as thats why they were put into the game.

i never said people should not be able to use there ability im saying i should have a option to hide players if i dont want to see people ability's im not stopping them for doing what ever they are doing by trying to hide them off my screen.
