Working on charging hammer. I got Bandos but not working for the other bosses. When I use the hammer on the alter, just says:

"the general's residual soul energy has already faded from the alter"

I killed them multiple times and tried all 3. Is there a specific order. Not sure if I'm missing something that I did at Bandos but not the others.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

You only have like 2 seconds to do it, so stand right next to the altar and make them come to you (harder with the big bird) as soon as they are dead, then use the hammer and ignore the bodyguards or turn off auto attack so you don't run to them.

Yep.. That worked.. Guess I was by altar when I killed Bandos and his minions were dead b4 him.

Jagex needs to extend the timer or just charge the hammer on death.

I seem to be having no luck at all with this.
Ive taken auto retaliate off
im standing right next to the alta when the general dies
you cannot left click hammer to use so I have to right click it which wastes time.
i have though right clicked it whilst fighting the general and as soon as her death cry sounds i use the hammer on the alta, so within a second and still get the message the soul has gone
Any ideas please otherwise i might as well give up?

Right click the hammer>click use on the altar immediately after death. Have the cursor ready on the altar a second before the general dies. I did it the other day and there doesn't seem to be issues. Don't bother with the minions of the generals either. Hopefully it'll work, goodluck =)

So bascially I have to have the curser on the alta before she dies ready to hit it as she cries her death?
Is it meant to be that hard its rediculous?
That is not like 2 seconds that is under a second!

You could keep the cursor ready on the altar for whole duration of the fight(that's what I did), and just put prayer and focus on the altar.
