The new quest is definitely giving us some spoilers into the future of Roald and Misthalin, for now I'll save these spoilers for a couple of days for the others to explore.

The other thing I like about this quest is it told us a lot of things about the past of Raptor and Roald, that some people might or still may have about Queen Ellamaria. Since we are talking about the lore of the past being confirmed by the new quest, it is time to bust some myths.

When we meet The Raptor in the Jolly Boar Inn, she pretty much revealed her past life to us. Her parents died during the war Roald fought with Morytannia. This resonated with the fact we knew she was a Varrock Bartender. She actually hated Roald and was set to humiliate him in front of the nobles, but ended up getting married to the King when he told her to take up the role of The Raptor. Interesting... so The Raptor was actually the idea of Roald, not even Ellamaria herself.

There also seem to be cliffhangers on the forging of The Raptor. She mentioned Reldo created the helmet that disguised the voice as male, and her armor was smithed by Linza. So, perhaps there are other parties involved in saga of The Ratpor.

How do you think Reldo, who is really Charos, getting behind The Raptor? Seems like The Raptor is the creation of many prominent NPCs. I will be interested to know more future adventures of this lesser known Signature Hero, especially when King Rolad is soon going to....

PLEASE use the /spoiler tags, it's only polite.

But these weren't spoilers. We knew about these lore with recent quests like Dead and Buried and lore of The Raptor from various sources way back from the past.

The narratives of The Raptor in the new quest serve not as spoilers, but explanations of lore revealed in the past.

Please don't take my words out of context. The spoilers into
the future of Roald and Misthalin"
are not what this thread is about.

This thread is about what we learned about The Raptor in the past and how this quest confirmed the old lore.

Confirmed the old lore? This is just plain terrible writing.

Reldo is actually Charos!

Sir Vey Lance is actually a Cthonian demon!

The Queen is actually the Raptor!

It's hamfisted and out of place and makes no sense unless you think Marvel movies are the pinnacle of writing. What next, King Roald is actually a vampyre? Sir Prysin is actually a descendant of Delrith?

It's an embarrassment.

I didn't write this and it has no relationship to my discussion of the background of The Raptor. It is also not part of Ancient Awakening quest.

The Queen is The Raptor (revealed in the Dead and Buried) quest and Reldo is Charos (revealed long ago in "You're It&quot ;) were what made the plot of the new quest good in explaining past events. Charos, Roald, Linza, or maybe more NPCs we don't know yet created The Raptor, not Ellamaira herself.

It will only get more interesting when other heroes and NPC are getting involved in the upcoming Misthalin quest early next year. If Zaff has something special, sure why not let him be a member of the Misthalin Factor. The most important thing is Zaff or whoever must have significant content to add to the present and future of the persistent RS3 Universe, based on their past lore.
