Look, most of my rewards have been Christmas delicacies too... (I might have been the recipient of Dilbert's Elder Log. I put in 100k for the lamp. Scam game. )

Of all of the different ways you can celebrate Christmas this year, this one shouldn't be relegated by Jagex in any way.

" title. That's all you're really guaranteed from this. XP. Title.

Top Secret Santa

" title by chucking in 200m or more in a singular donation. Again, that is ALL you are really guaranteed from this - along with the lamp from the dono being over 100k.

Anything else you get from the Secret Santa is GRAVY. It's extra. You might have just as poor odds of getting anything good in return here as you would sniping the Black Partyhat on a Sunday.

The point for this particular facet of the village is to allow players to give in the spirit of the holiday to one another. You want rewards? There's other Christmas activities that would better cater to you.

Did you receive my Earhart the Penguin pet donation? Usually I was a cheapo, but somehow I felt charitable after I received 2 tokens of the newest fishing emote so I donated a 400k gp worth of festive Penguin pet.

Completely wrong! We can claim a prize more than once a day but when no prizes can be claimed from the donations of other players, we will only get some filled in junk JAGEX put there.

Between the players, it is a ZERO SUM game, 100% balanced. Whoever claim more than once per day are getting extra bonus of festive but not gp worthy items.
No clue how many hour your days have?
My days have more then 2 hours so that is multiple times a day claim abilty?
Or did I calculate bit wrong???

Aside form my completly wrong calculation appearently :
I did not knew about the trash thingy.
I always assumed you got a roll of donations.
1 time a day abilty of money is indeed balanced.

You can claim a prize every two hours, but when nobody donated you would only get a random piece of festive food as I wrote:

"we will only get some filled in junk JAGEX put there."

Let's say there are 3 players A, B and C. A donated 10k, B donated 200 mil gp, C Donated 10k.

At the first hour, A is lucky to claim 200 mil gp from B, B claimed 10k from C, C claimed 10k from A.

Then comes the second hour, there is nothing left in the prize pool, so all A, B and C will start getting filled in festive foods from Jagex the remainder of the day regardless how many times they claim a prize.

To much heat.

If he does he will make it very complex and switch things a bit.
There is never a short and simple answer always very long and political somehow.
