Hear-no-evil monkey hat

Edit for clarity: My wife has a member account and a free-to-play account.

I have spent a great many hours at the beach event this month, leveling my dungeoneering from 102 to 120. Yet, I have not received the Hear-no-evil monkey hat, nor has my wife received this item. At some event in the past, I had received the See-no-evil and Speak-no-evil monkey hats, and my wife received all three hats, so she doesn't care about missing the hat this event. But I would like the Hear-no-evil monkey hat. Surely it should have dropped by now? Is it somehow glitched? My wife's free-to-play account got all three hats quite early during the event but had not had the hats previously. Maybe there is some kind of glitch preventing people that previously had the hats from getting the Hear-no-evil monkey hat from dropping this event?

Is anybody else having this problem?

If your wife (someone whose words you probably trust) said she got the items you are looking for, then the chance is you are just not as lucky as her.

AFAIK, all these beach event items are mutually independent from the others.

If by "during the event" you don't mean Summer Beach 2023, then there is no relevancy between what your wife obtained or not obtained in 2023 Summer Beach.

The Monkey Hats are very rare drop in Summer Beach 2023 according to the RS Wiki. Not getting a very rare drop is hardly a glitch.

She has two accounts.

One account (and my account) have previously had these items. I think these accounts are somehow glitched because there is no reason why neither of us should not have received this third hat after the hours we have put in at the beach.



Edit: I have not had the Hear-no-evil hat.

One of my accounts have obtained a Summer Sun but not the Summer Storm Ring, and an Monkey Mace but not the Monkey Hats.

My main accounts have obtained everything.

I don't see how is it a "glitch" when very rare means very rare, and we should not expect to obtain all the new items added to Summer Beach 2023, let alone there are also recurring very rare items in the same Summer Beach 2023 drop table we may have have obtained in the past.

All three of our accounts have obtained all of the rings, the hats, the mace, everything from this year except the same two hats. The one hat, on two accounts. I am asking if anybody else has had this problem. It's lovely you haven't had the problem. Great. Please just move on if you have nothing to contribute except that it isn't a problem.

If we can show other players, especially seeing I can get some but not all of these very rare items this year, then it is not a glitch to us.

If you think this "glitch" only applies to the accounts of you and your wife, then as other RSOF users suggested in similar threads:

"Also, and this goes without saying, if you haven't already, send in a bug report in-game. As that is really everything you can do at this time."
