Only games with low profit margins will be shutdown. RS3 has the highest margin and with 50% MTX in all of Jagex's game, right in the middle of the 40%-60% industry norm.

No way can RS3 be shutdown and Jagex can still survive, especially when they need to spend more on development and promotions of their new games.

If there was no RS3, OSRS had to shoulder the 50% MTX. Do you really, really think OSRS would survive with 50% MTX, 0 promotion and almost non-existing sponsorship of content creators like RS3? The hell no, so if something had to shut down, it would be OSRS first.
