I'm finding the bone fragments to be extremely annoying. I have the upgraded bone crusher so could there be a way to automatically pick them up or just turn them off completely. I have 200m slayer and I really don't see any other benefit besides exp.

Agree with what you are saying, and it would be nice to have a choice of xp like prayer, but on the other hand his tasks are for mid-level players and it's better to stay with the last 2 higher level masters. I also don't like how they show 1 game tick before the rest of the other drops for some reason.

Edit: Doing his 3rd challenge auto picks them up.

it's better to stay with the last 2 higher level masters. Is it? What does the 2nd Trophy give you? I've been doing it because I would love to get rid of Slayer Introspection from my relic's list and I really don't care about slayer points. I have 12,266 slayer points.

well you must have anticipated after hitting 200m exp that a lot of skill related updates would be irrelevant for you I did. I never actively went for 200m exp and got it as a consequence of daily tasks for Abyssal Scourges.

Depending on how good the 2nd challenge reward is would determine if it's relevant or irrelevant.

There seems to be some discrepancy between what the in-game trophy case for the second trophy says the perk is and what the RS Wiki says the perk is.

If the Wiki is right, Raptor tasks would have a 25% shorter floor or higher ceiling with regards to the amount of monsters found in the default amount. This would not replace Slayer Instropection, which allows you to select from three given options what the task is...

However, in game, the slayer trophy (which I don't have personally so I couldn't test it out for you) says that it would allow you to receive shorter, normal, or long tasks from the Raptor. This effect absolutely grants the player the Slayer Introspection relic and would free up relic space while on Raptor tasks.

From there though, if I were coming at this from someone with 200 Slayer XP, I would assume the reason you want to keep training Slayer is drops.

Speaking strictly about the new Greater Sonic Blast ability codex, Laniakea, -and- the Raptor assign both Risen Ghosts as well as Armored Phantoms.

Mandrith doesn't, which is kind of odd to me because all four of the new Slayer creatures are located within the Wilderness (although the Risen Ghosts and Armored Phantoms' dungeon isn't listed as such, for some reason, which I guess means they technically aren't.)

Long story short, If you want to pursue the new ability codex and don't want to receive bone fragments, you can always get the task from Laniakea (although hunting for it may be easier from the Raptor, in which case, the fragments are a part of his schtick as a scalable Slayer master that has growth in the skill seemingly thoroughly built in.)

Once all three of the Raptor's challenges have been completed, they are automatically looted when they are dropped.

There might be a bug to this too, couse Wiki says bone frags always drop when on slayer task on the 4 new slayer monsters, if task is given by The Raptor. This doesn't happen....

Have reported it......

They said in some weird fashion, that you also could put those fragments into the bank. It's possible those things will have some additional use in the future - except for being exchanged for token slayer xp. Necromancy maybe-ish? Something else around the fort?

The wiki used information derived from the announcement post, that the t3 trophy is required to gain the bone fragments in the first place. If you check out the t3 trophy stand ingame, it states it auto collects said fragments for you - and you're able to gain said fragments at all times while on a raptor task.

Jagex seemingly changed their design between announcement and release and it took the wiki a bit to adjust that piece of information. It makes sense not to lock parts of the functionality of a low levelled master behind 90 slayer after all. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

I won't be doing Slayer assignments intentionally when I have 200 mil xp already, Raptor's assignments or not. I am only doing Raptor's now for the slayer soul achievements. I won't be complaining about the soul fragments because nobody forces me to pick them up.

However, when they go directly into my inventory after the 3rd challenge, I am more than happy to keep them in my bank. I have a lot of bank space thanks to all the more recent updates adding new containers like seed bags etc. I am still keeping all the ectotokens, jorge trading sticks, GWD2 reputation items and whatnots in my bank, why not bone fragments? Someday they may become useful.... perhaps my ectotomens may worth something soon with Necromancy... :)
