Am I alone in thinking that by calling it a quest Battle of Forinthry has been totally mislabelled? I was looking forward to some interesting game play/lore to round off the Fort series - but there is none of that at all. You go straight to the boss fight, with no lead up or much warning. So in my opinion, it's exactly that - a boss fight, not a quest at all.

Whether you want to call a piece of lore based content a quest is up to you, but most certainly there are significant lore and reveals in Battle of Forinthry. In case if some people missed it or they just hit the scrollbar on all in game NPC dialogues, fortunately they can still enjoy them from the RS Wiki:

While certain lore aspects were involved, I agree that this was not really a quest - it was a boss fight with some random running around tacked on afterwards to make it less obvious that it was just a boss fight.

Similarly, Alpha vs Omega is not a 'real' quest in my view, either - both lack actual STORY, or engaging content beyond combat.

What? So all those classic quests like the original Doric Quest completely with no lores and no other NPCs to talk to or interact with are quests for over 22 years?
