Mod rowley, assuming Hermodic plates drop at 1/10 like the wiki says, they must be glitched as everyone is reporting that since yesterdays hotfix they haven’t been dropping

The drop rates of the plates haven't changed (they are still 1/10).
The drumsticks were updated in the hotfix to include bad luck protection so that you are guaranteed them after a number of kills.


I actually received the drumsticks after around 38 kills, but no plates since the 19th kill, which provided me with my third plate.

Methinks this stuff is bugged (as usual)

I've been saying this for a few days now. I'm currently at 7 plates with 213 kills. Got my 7th plate at 201 kills. Untradeable items like this really shouldn't have this much problem with luck.

You only need like 30 plates total to make each level 70,80 and 90 sets. Say wiki is wrong and its 1/20 that's only 600 kills on a boss you can semi afk in under 50 seconds so 10 hours tops. I am not good at bossing and using tank armour, if I was using power then it might be even faster kills.

Go make yourself a full set of master work from scratch and time how long that takes you.

my drop rate seems to be 1/13 if i had to hazard a guess without looking at the wiki

145 kills and 12 plates

just fyi you need 29 plates according to the quickchat check/boss logs as the first one given to you during the quest doesnt count
