It is worth the time because all your progress counts towards the bad luck mitigation. The other skills related to that shard count too, so you can do any of them.

I did receive some skilling ones from the beach earlier in the week so can confirm that works. Waiting on the quest one to pop in finished those earlier today. Trying to get the combat one in the mean time to finish my 8.

In game event counter still says 18hrs remaining, but Nic the shady merchant says event is over. I just wasted my time 480 kbd kills in before I heard about Nic. Why would the in game event counter still say 18 hours remaining? Is this a glitch? Did Jagex end event early?

Same, I started last night spamming pickpocketing (around 10pm) until around 11pm tonight( about an hour ago), and then noticed that the seller was gone completely from GE.

Claims theres 17 hours left for cape in game. WTF is happening jagex.
Thats SO much time wasted for god knows how many people.
