Underwhelmed, underfunded, (Grove?) more undergrowth. With only 5 players grove empties of trees when elder resets. Confused as now unsure what I have built and how I can build it more than once?
You can ask Bill about what you've built and how high it is. That you can build the stuff more than once is intentional, since it's a training method for construction.
Other than that you do not need to stick to the grove. You get the very same benefits all over the world. Just look for some comfy place that suits your needs.

I don't know about the Ivy part, but I was watching a stream, and they said they had the pieces twice-over already (as of yesterday). They said the nests went straight to their bank and not the ground.
With the golden cape teleporting logs and birds nest to bank, I have been having to go back to the bank to check the birds nest. Been chopping elder tree when it finally resets Mean while doing yew and magic tree I planted and after hours and hours of chopping and dozen nests I yet to get a fragment for the new hatchet. There rare and and then there lame. This looking lame. I'm 120 wood cutting. Only doing this for the new hatchet beginning to wonder if it's worth the time it's taking to get it.

If you want to get something new and rare then it is always worth the time. I doubt anybody needs a Golden Cape for example, but a lot of us are doing it, me included, although I am master maxed in all virtual levels.
If things aren't rare, then it will not be worthwhile to do it rather. I have a friend who has 200 mil woodcutting xp already but he is enjoying the time he is spending to get the Imcando Hatchet. He absolutely like it rare so he can have a new rare skin for RS3 fashionscape.
This is why I always prefer to have something nice, rare, or fun to get that can't be bought with gp and bonds. Imcando Hatchet is something that fits the needs of players who want to play the game to feel good about their progress and achievements instead of just farming gp aimlessly.

There's "rare", and then there is "are you kidding me? rare". A lot of the gambling mechanics of this game fall under the "are you kidding me? rare". For example, someone I know has received 3 gold "wills". I've done the same amount of wills as them and received zero golds. Same with the Xmas presents. I had an incalculable amount of time sunk into those Xmas papers and never got one of the top-tier presents.
I get the point of having ultra rare, but if it is so ultra rare that it's imbalanced like that where one person gets 3 but another gets 0, it feels off to the point of "why bother?"

That is awesome for you.
I've been there an equivalent of over 3 work days and have yet to get even one piece.
