As the title says, I think it'd be nice to be able to have the option for the book of UM (that you get from the City of Um area tasks) to be able to send Ashes directly to your Focus Storage as they're dropped.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's not currently a particularly efficient way of farming ashes, at least not in the quantity that they're required for creating Necromancy inks anyway! And at this point, the Book of Um is already able to essentially bank multiple types of bones for you, so I don't think that adding ashes would be that far fetched/ overpowered.
I don't mind if this is something that needs to be added to the Hard/ Elite diaries to make it more 'balanced' or whatever, but please just add it as an option .
TLDR: Add the ability for the Book of Um to be able to teleport ashes (not demon ashes, just normal fire ashes) directly to your ritual focus storage.

You are correct.
Even the Death Note archaeology relic only notes
demonic
ash drops, not regular ones (e.g. from Abyssal creatures).

We have Daemonheim Archaeology coming up. We are likely going to have Hard and Elite City of Um Diaries too. I think having better way to handle ashes drop fits more in the Daemonheim Archaeology agenda as ashes come from demons normally and we already have bone noting Archaeology relic power.
They can also add something similar to the Dragon Trinkets that pick up and note dragon bones. Maybe we can have Demon Trinkets or some sort of neckwear made with the new Gemstone.
New Monolith Power remains the best option to me as it curbs power creep. Demon Trinkets also limit power creep in a certain way as we will be trading off other combat powers from our neckwear slot for ash noting powers.
Yeah the book now banks any regular ashes you're picking up. If ashes were added to some shop it only should have been fairly low amounts anyway.
