The 2 posts above obviously showed the angle of your camera and the actions (and therefore animations) may cause different perception on the naked eyes of different players.

We can say basically the same thing on over 9,000 graphical effects over the last 22 years of the Runesape franchise games. Most of them aren't "fixed" because they don't mean much or are even noticeable to most players so they probably have low priorities in the developers' to-do list.

We just report them if we want, but there isn't really much to talk about a bug.

It is too bad that animations need to be fixed at all. They should do a better job at designing them in the first place.

They can't design animations today basically on updates they have never seen and never thought about in the future.

Jagex's games are living games. They are changing every week. We had far far more animations developed between 2005 and 2007 that were way broken now with new graphics (e.g. capes) and animations released after 2007 but Jagex didn't care to "fix" them in their current games now.

It was just a funny animation in my opinion.
The pictures show the point very good :D

Dilbert it was kind of the point to let others like you post (in words, pictures or animations) other "broken" or funny animations in game.
That is why I did post the last line there:
"Anyway did you spot any of those weird animations?
Let us know down below!"

Read this article please:

"The graphical stretching glitch, also known as the stretchy skin glitch or stretchy glitch, is one of the most common glitches seen as a result of RuneScape updates. The glitch most commonly affects moving objects that have been recently updated or are using something else that is the product of a recent update."

"Although often visually annoying or distracting, the stretching glitch does not have any negative impact on game mechanics or performance. Players who experience the glitch should report it to ensure a quick fix, but do not need to be concerned about bug abuse or other major issues."

https://runescape.wiki/w/Graphical_stretching_glitch

A lot of these glitches came from the 2005-2007 era, and some have been worked on in RS3. Some weren't fixed at all (e.g everything in OSRS) and some don't concern the RS3 community and Jmods as they have no negative effects to gameplay and as such they are of low priority.

Want an example where we see these graphical glitches we inherited from the old school era? Please refer to this thread where an old school glitch caused a common skirt appeared to be "trimmed". RS3 has done their due diligence and updated it but apparently it wasn't a concern in OSRS and as such nothing fixed. There are heaps and heaps and heaps of examples like it.

It's not even a glitch, the animation looks great. It's a matter of how that animation interacts with the sawmill.

As I quoted:

It is no a glitch from a still image. The illusion only comes in an animation - with a moving object.

It's not even that. I've looked at this hundreds of times in-game. The table is too tall and the saw blade is a total nightmare. Logs and planks would be flying thousands of yards in the air.

In comparison, the handsaw station next to it is much better matched. Although still impossible.

Nothing of this affects the moving HANDS though. Sorry if you don't like the saw, logs, planks tables or whatever but it has no bearing to the MOVING hands that may appear to be "missing" to some players from some angles.

I was just thinking, is it possible we were meant to be facing north instead of south? It would immediately make more sense. I keep trying to remind them, north is up. :p

Edit: not quite, we can actually sneak back behind there. I didn't notice.

You can move your camera angle to face north or south. It will still have no bearing to the "missing hands" as long as they aren't MOVING objects.

This "glitch" is really not a glitch as the hands aren't missing all the time. The glitch is the old school graphics engine has problems with moving objects occasionally. Sometimes we may see "missing hands" but it really doesn't affect gameplay as the article I quoted stated. However, if future updates caused an illusion of a "trimmed hand" like the "trimmed" skirt I quoted as an example, I'll expect RS3 will have a higher priority, and eventually fix it as it may lead to bug abuses like "selling Trimmed Gloves". :D
