runelite has been updated on their end but via jagex launcher i cannot use it yet!

What exactly is the issue? You may want to try posting in the Community Led Tech Support forum for the best results on this thread. Lots of knowledgeable people there.

Closing this as this issue was resolved shortly after the author posted the thread.

In the future, Old School related topics are best posted within the Old School section of the forums; the Recent Game Updates forum is meant more for updates regarding RuneScape, not Old School RuneScape.
