Whether RNG sucks doesn't matter when we can all get a free Wilderness Shoulder Cape from competing Tier 50 of the Yak Track. No RNG involved whatsoever. Great deal for everybody.

well your RNG kinda figures into your chance of a rare
yes i did read the jagex release post and noticed you have repeatedly reminded us all of the free task 50 Wildness shoulder cape,
i like many others i'm assuming would love one or several of the other rare capes
... #fashioncape :D
anyhow thanks for the input, have a good day scaping and the best of luck
*update* 24 sacks 0 rare capes :(

I don't see anywhere OP asked for what RNG on getting the Cape or whether we love one or several of the other rare capes. Of course, everybody should be interested we can get at least 1 Guaranteed Cape, and good to know at least one commenter on this thread has already gotten one. :)

Can you still use skips on the final repeatable task?

Like 1 skip gets you 1 yak sack? If so the capes must be insanely rare.

yes you can use skips on the final repeatable task if you so wanted too

Yes, but do many players want to spend a lot of money hoping to get a cape with a street price of 24 mil gp (instant sold)?

Everybody finishing Tier 50 will guarantee at least 1 Wildy cape. Street price justifies it is rather easy to get.

you'll find this thread is about all the capes from the yak sacks see OP's 2nd post.
speaking just for myself here, i know i am happy spending my money.. and again i am referring to the rarer capes and not to the tier 50
not so rare cape

but feel free to do another negative reply and please show some
evidence
that the rarer capes (not the tier 50) are selling for as little as 24 mil gp as you claim as i would love to buy the entire set for that price each

@Storm Cobra

Real time market prices tell the supply and demand of an item. As we can all see 8 days after release of the "rarer" Wildy Capes, their official GE prices are still around 250 mil gp where Jagex started them from day 1, strongly indicating they aren't "rare".

Street prices of the "rarer" capes also suggested there were initially traded at 1 to 1.25 bil gp but are falling sharply to or below 350 mil gp now.

They are just not rare, at least not as rare as most, if not all, of previous rare items from events like the Walk Animations, Shadow Gem, etc that shoot up to 1.5 bil to max cape and stayed high for years.
