my biggest issue is i was using protean planks with flatpack depackers while making mahogany tables, but i wasn't actually using the protean planks. i would keep them in my inventory with the plank box with 100 mahogany planks and inventory of mahogany planks. Doing this allowed me to make the limit of 60 flatpack items on a portable workbench, which was actually achievable when using the brooch of the gods, the contruction skillcape, and the dungeoneering scroll to save planks. I was saving planks often enough with all that to make 60 mahogany tables that used 6 planks per table with just the 125 mahogany planks per inventory (100 in the plank box, 25 in inventory, flatpack depacker, and stack of protean planks), and even if i didn't save enough to make 60 without having to make up the difference with the protean planks in the inventory, i was saving enough planks to make at least 45 or 50 of those flatpack items consistently. now i can only make 21 at the most doing the same thing, and even if i save planks, i still have to click on the workbench again to use the planks i saved to make more. on top of all that, the artificer's measure can no longer activate when using protean planks due to the changes. this was the best way for me to grind the skill pet efficiently. i still do not have the skill pet and have been severely hindered in my attempts to get it due to these changes. i was planning on using this strategy to get 120 contruction during this double xp live event, but now it's not possible to do anymore. i ended up working on 120 construction with just the protien planks, which is not nearly as much xp per hour as the method i have been using, and is also doesn't give me a chance to get the skill pet since i'm using protean items now rather than just having them in my inventory to make the flatpack item limit 60 but not actually using the protean planks. this is all around a terrible update and i hope it get's reversed so i can go back to farming the pet.
