It refunds one seed from time to time - not whatever amount you've planted. If that was to be taken into account I'd rather have it work like the smithing scroll - a chance per seed, rather than a chance to refund everything at once. Likewise for the modified farming hat. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

It should be the amount u plant that's how it worked before the update now u get practically nothing back from 500 seeds used I got maybe 8 seeds returned that's terrible return value it needs to be fixed at least give half the seeds back maybe not all 10 or however many u plant

The scroll of efficiency basically works after the same principle.

Smithing an elder rune platebody +5 requires 80 bars at once - so you've got 80 chances at 2 % to get a bar back - which can give more bar after finishing the project - but that's not a 2 % chance for 80 bars at once, not even close. But it is basically the same if you were to smith 80 1 bar projects instead.

Likewise it would be extremely unlikely for your scroll of life to proc 10 times in a row if you were to plant those seeds individually, so why should it be better to plant 10 at once for that matter? I can totally agree on it should be equal - but that would be changing it to the behaviour of the scroll of efficiency.

I mean right now we have the behaviour of the old scroll of efficiency - a static chance, no matter how the actual input is.

I'm not saying it should be for every patch u plant it should be how it was before at least to were it has a chance to save some seeds if not all from the one patch ur planting in I understand they wanna lower the amount of seeds in game but destroying how a perk works ain't he best way to do it they already screwed over the yield with higher planting volume so y should the scrolls whos only job is to have a chance to save the seeds u plant also be completely useless to where it saves only one seed out of the several hundred planted? Before when it was one herb per patch I would get lucky and maybe have it proc on 2 or 3 patches saving me 3 seeds but like I said before using 500 seeds I only saved 8 seeds that makes the scroll completely useless now

I got 1 seed back in a couple of occasions. I think it is more appropriate we get a random number of seeds between 1 and the actual number of seeds we planted back.
which I think is a good idea like I said as it is now it's not even worth buying the scroll as u get completely screwed over possibly saving 1 seed out of 10 with a low proc chance makes it worthless as of right now
