have been trying to log in after this mornings update!
sadly up till now, some 6 hours later the client doesnt wanna log me in and says the client suffers from an error.
jagex bug report sends me in a loop where i cant report or anything else.

i had a memebership untill the 3th of december, on the 17th of november, during dxp i was forced to buy another year of premier membership because i lost 100 bankspaces all of a sudden.

now i cannot log in since the update earlier today :-( ( for me it feels like another day of lost efford, as it did many times before.
keeping track in my head i lost over a month of play possibility in the last 3 years without calculating those log in problems.

for the moment i quit trying to do some irl stuff.

disappointed not to be able to play an normally very nice game and therefor a nice distraction of mind!

I'm perfectly fine playing on minimum graphics. You don't need to see nose hair to play this click based game. Now i cant play on minimum graphics. Things won't load on the map or it keeps crashing while on minimum graphics.

This was not a update it just messed everything up.

fix it please. i recently got another year of membership. cant use it if i cant play.......

have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? you could also try to clear the game cache folder.

also you might try switching your client to compatability mode. it will be slightly laggy, but it may however be operational untill this bug has been fixed. you can accomplish this by loading the game. while the yellow loading bar is accumilating on the client box in the desktop, quickly click the cog or gear icon in the lower left corner of the client box window. then under the graphics mode tab select compatability mode.

this usually allows you to play the game in a lower mode while a fix is being worked on. check for fixes daily by reverting back to normal mode and then reload the game client. switch to compat mode again if game fails to load.

I got a similar problem with the recent launcher fuck up. I can't change characters cause the christmas banner is too big I also had to log out by colapsing the screen, as I couln't even log out properly

Your problem is definitely what OP mentioned and seemingly have revolved, as they couldn't log in but was able to since yesterday. If you couldn't change characters, you would have to be logged in to do so.
