Hi! The emotion I'm feeling right now is very intense. My name is Tyler. I played runescape between 2007 and quit in 2012 (EOC).

2017 was the last time I logged into my account. I have a Photo on my facebooked (which has always been linked to my for more than 10 years) posted on 2017 of this account, of my adventure's log. This was within a year of me moving from the US to Japan.

After that, The next time I tried to log into my account, My Main Account, My Baby, My Life, Over 400 Days of in-game gameplay. 5 Years of my life, And the Thing (Back then) I gave more attention and dedication, hard work and effort to than anything in my life. I didn't spend that much time in College (graduated in 3 years), I haven't even been at my current job, or any job, as long as I've played Runescape.

But .... I HAVE been locked out of my account and trying to get it back for longer than I've played Runescape. SIX YEARS I've been throwing Request after Request at jagex trying to get my account back. I lost my phone (Number, Authenticator, which lost my Email, all of which were for THIS account), The backup codes I had printed were MIS-labeled and for a different account. Worst security F*ckup of my life. I'd long given up hope I'd ever have access to this account again.

Until Yesterday, when I did a request and got a password reset email. IT WORKED !!! I was the happiest I've been in more in a decade. Words can't describe the emotion I felt getting my now 16 Year Old account back. Literal Dream come true. I immediately checked settings, Updated and Triple checked security settings, etc.

I get an email this morning saying "Your request to change password has been denied after further review". JAGEX!!!!!!!!

Try to login and it's locked again. Do another appeal and It's approved immediately.

I've just linked more accounts and Paid for membership with a card with MY NAME. Please don't take this away from me after I've been trying for so long to recover this account.

You have returned just in time to prepare for the arrival next month of RuneScape's newest skill - Necromancy!

EOC 2.0 is also coming, as part of Necromancy. You may be less excited for that, I suspect. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!

You may want to tour around and revisit some of the modernized old places. Even some noob places like Karamja and Varrock are stunningly beautiful in RS3 now.

You may not have dreamed of this beautiful city being the ugly Varrock you used to know 16 years ago:

And your grace, you can be a Duke and have your own Fort in Varrock just a couple of quests away. :)
