Perhaps some of us should know why many investors, especially growth oriented ones, often value well kept secret games like SCUM than known quality games but with either not much growth potential or simply unappealing profit margins.
It is not hard to see games in a fresh trending genre like Survival gathering much buzz from investors when they see some unknown survival game from unknown indie developers selling 6 million copies for over $200 million.
Now imagine how much would SCUM or Jagex's unannounced game be worth if they could make hundreds of millions in a matter of days? They would definitely be more valuable than RS3 and OSRS combined.
I won't make this gamble though, but who knows, perhaps some see the risk/rewards in their favor, and they are willing to buy Jagex for $1 billion.
