It's a bigger problem, because you need thousands of souls to advance now. I think it is 35K total.

You have enough talent points, so if you just grind out all the souls you will probably be way past lvl 99.

That was one of the complaints I had, the soul collection is excessive.

You know I was trying to check his soul number. Sorry I missed that. Thought I saw red for that item. Guess I misread. Yes, you have a soul requirement to unlock each level. Eventually the talents will have rune requirements to unlock.

Tier 9 requires 35k Souls. But since you are 90+ you will be able to use multiplier and unlocked the higher setups so it should be easy for you. Will not take you very long. Use the highest settings you can. It will be worth it.

It wasn't less before. I was just saying you have enough talent points already, so you only need to collect a lot of souls to unlock everything.

Normally you would have collected more souls along the way, and unlocked the abilities earlier. So you are ahead on talent points, but behind on souls. That's what I meant by 'now.'

Yeah, I had been in the same exact situation ever since I got 20 Necromancy shortly after the skill was released. I could not unlock Command Skeleton Warrior, even though I had all the previous unlocks, plus 2 Talent Points available to spend.

Recently, I have been working on the Hero Pass special mission to perform 100 rituals. Early Friday morning, I completed 50/100 rituals. On a whim, I decided to check the Well of Souls at this point. I was curious as to how many souls I had collected. I had 145. I also noticed that the Command Skeleton Warrior ability was now available to me. So I unlocked the ability - and it only cost me 1 Talent Point.

Afterwards, I checked my ritual chest. Inside the chest, I had 156 ectoplasm.

If I had known all I needed to do was perform additional rituals, I could have unlocked Tier 2 weeks ago. I actually thought this was some sort of bug, so I filed a bug report.

Oh well. Serves Jagex right for not adequately explaining the process. I've been putting out fire with gasoline! ^_^
