Back then everyone was playing the game and we would talk about it throughout the day about what we had discovered that day which were small things but huge achievements for us little explorers. Haha
Fast forwarding to today I do not talk about it to those around me that often. Most of them have not touched the game for many years and have forgotten about it most likely. Yeah, I somewhat do keep it to myself as a secret of some sorts as most people do not seem to care or simply find it weird that I am still playing this 20+ year old game we/they also used to play back when we were kids. Not that I care what they think about me but deep down, to avoid feeling “ashamed” I keep it to myself most of the time I guess.
(Ashamed is not the right word for it.. i am trying to find the right words to describe what I am trying to say but cannot think of it right now. o_O)
Ooh, shiny things!
I don't go out of my way to keep it a secret or to advertise it.
Anyone who knows me knows I've been into gaming for a long time, so if they learned I play RS, nobody would be shocked.
I've been putting out fire with gasoline!
In my country this game isn't popular, compared to other titles.
Only my cousin knows that I play RS, since he also loves videogames.
He plays those Japanese RPG's, from A to Z. He's kinda a veteran otaku
Leveling +110 all skills and completing stuff here and there
Fifteen years ago, I would be hesitan to tell other people I played a lot of Runescape, when everybody thought it was all about gold farming and there wasn't anything else to talk about.
It is a totally different story now, yes story, as RS3 has become a never-ending story, an everliving entertainment like a comic book, TV series or a musical.
