I thought since you were clarifiying and making sure other people were aware of the issue, I too would clarify my point as well.
Make sure that anyone buying you prepaid cards know to buy visa.
If your eyesight is good enough you can read the fine print on the cards before purchase and i do believe it even tells you that overseas purchases wont be allowed on the mastercard prepaid.
I know the wording between the 2 (visa and mastercard) are different but since I found out mastercard didnt work years ago, i never had the need to look at them again.
